The tvca's mission is to
promote, both at the national and international
levels, awareness of the venture capital industry in
Taiwan and its importance to Taiwan's economy. We wish
to create an environment in which the venture capital
industry in Taiwan can continue to grow and flourish.
In addition to providing networking opportunities
among its members, the tvca provides the following
services for the Taiwan venture capital industry:

surveys, provides statistics, research & development of
Taiwan and foreign venture capital industries |

Acts
as liaison between tvca members and the government in
order to update members of relevant investment regulations
and to coordinate change of relevant investment
regulations |

Serves
as bridge between technology companies and venture capital
funds to actively promote investments by sponsoring
periodic seminars and conferences |

Establishes
a professional information center of venture capital in
Taiwan in order to provide members with more relevant
local and international industry information |

Provides
background information of members as well as analysis of
state of industries |
|
Reinforces
communication between local and international venture
capital funds and firms |
|
Promotion
of relevant business laws and regulations and economic
policies |
