The tvca's mission is to promote, both at the national and international level, awareness of the venture capital industry in Taiwan and its importance to the domestic economy. Our goal is to create an environment in which the venture capital industry can continue to grow and flourish.

The tvca provides the following services:

Publishes an annual survey on the state of the domestic venture capital industry; collects statistics; conducts research on the venture capital industry

Acts as liaison between tvca members and the government; updates venture funds on relevant investment regulations; coordinates amendments to relevant investment regulations

Serves as bridge between technology companies seeking capital and venture funds seeking investment opportunities; actively promotes investments through periodic seminars and conferences

Maintains an exhaustive professional venture capital information center for members as well as a database on members' background and investment preferences

Reinforces relationships between local and international venture capital funds and firms

Promotes relevant business laws and regulations and economic policies
