1. As of the end of 2005, 268 venture funds have been granted operating permits by the
government. Of the 268, 231 funds have incorporated and are operating, 11 funds are not yet
operating, and 26 funds have closed. This publication only takes into account operating funds.

2. Total paid-in capital figures only take into account the paid-in capital of funds that were
operating in 2005.
